Youth Intake Request

Current information as of September 2017

We are accepting youth enrolment for all programs, with the following exception.

From time to time we pause the enrollment for some youth, due to the size of the waiting list for those already fully enrolled and waiting for a match. At this time our waiting list is capped for boys wanting a male mentor in our Big Brothers program. This is done to ensure we are able to find a match for a young person within a reasonable time frame. We continuously recruit mentors for matches, and attempt to match youth as quickly as we can. Our waiting list times are dictated to a large degree by the number of volunteer mentors we are able to successfully recruit.

We apologize for the wait, but believe it is in the best interests of your child to enroll them closer to the time when we can better provide a relationship or group match opportunity.

At this time, we are referring those in need of immediate support to drop-in services, such as those offered by Boys and Girls Club, or as needed crisis services such as Klinic or Mobile Crisis.

We will accept intake of boys who are open to being matched to a Big Sister or in different programs, such as L.E.A.P.
