Interested in planning a fundraising event? Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg would love to be the charity of choice! All funds raised from Third Party Events will be used to maintain our services and the many quality programs that benefit children and youth in our community.   You can make a difference while having fun!

What to Plan

A Third Party Event can be any type of event you want! Your imagination is the limit! It can be anything from a bake sale, golf tournament, or sports event. Involve your friends, family or co-workers - the sky's the limit to make a BIG difference.

How to Get Started

Please read and sign the agreement to include with your application.

We recommend you give us as much lead time as possible, but at minimum we need 8 weeks notice prior to your event.

What we can do to help

  • Advice and ideas
  • Promotional support
  • Tax receipts
  • Letters of support

What we cannot do to help

  • Provide information on Bigs or Littles
  • Guarantee staff or volunteer involvement
  • Provide sponsors
  • Provide different licenses you may need to hold your event
